A Better Way to Advertise on YouTube

A Better Way to Advertise on YouTube

YouTube is the second most popular site on the web according to Similarweb. It is also the second most popular search engine in the world after Google. And many companies advertise on YouTube because it drives sales. But the problem is that it is expensive, it is difficult to make a profitable ad. But, why? It's because everyone does the same old things where they choose certain keywords, audiences and videos they want to target and show their ads to those people. And what most companies do is trust their creativity. They believe that the copy and design of their ads is what impacts sales the most. And yes, this has a huge impact on conversions and you shouldn't take it for granted, but you'll still find it's hard to scale your YouTube ads properly if you do what everyone else is doing. So I want you to try something new when it comes to your ads. First, I want you to add the Google watch pixel to your website. You can find out how to do this step by step, just go to this URL. Follow Google's instructions and set this up. This will allow you to show everyone who visits your site an ad when they browse YouTube. Now you don't want to show an ad to everyone, more so, you want to show the ad to the right people, the qualified people. Second, you need to be very specific with your ad. Think of all the holes in your marketing that can keep people from buying, address all those problems in your video ad. Also, use all the basics that help get people to the finish line, like social proof, like press quotes, value proposition, pricing, any money-back guarantee you offer, or free trial, showing reviews. of customers, anything that sets you apart, it will all help. Third, send people to a different page on your site. The big mistake people make with their ads is that they send people back to the same page they were on before when they didn't convert. For example, if I were selling a product or service and I had a landing page showing a bunch of facts and data about why people should buy from me, if someone didn't convert the first time they saw it, the next time I can do it. With them coming back to my site from remarketing, I would send them to a landing page with more emotional appeal. Fourth, continually test new strategies. You won't always get the results you want right away. It takes time to test and adjust your campaigns so they convert the way you want them to, from your landing page, to your ad copy, to your creative, even to your targeting, you need to be patient and continually focus on execution. Fifth, don't forget to add upsells and downsells. When you go to McDonald's and order fries, they often ask, "Hey, do you want a bigger fries?" You order a hamburger, they'll ask you, "Do you want a drink and fries with that? Do you want a meal, do you want a happy meal, do you want a toy?" They are constantly trying to get more money from you. It's easier to generate more money from your existing customers than it is to get new ones. Just like McDonald's, you want to add some upsells and downsells, this helps to generate more revenue. Any upsell that helps deliver better results or makes results happen faster is an easy way to get people to upsell. Lastly, focus on repeat customers. According to Alex Schultz try out YouTube ads to cold traffic as well, but I also want you to try the strategy I just broke down. ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital https://npdigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/5y6iR0TRqu0 #SEO #NeilPatel #DigitalMarketing #neil patel #online marketing #internet marketing #digital marketing #inbound marketing #youtube marketing #online marketing youtube #youtube online marketing #google’s remarketing pixel #advertising on youtube #creating youtube ads #youtube advertising #driving traffic #remarketing ads #youtube advertising strategies #social media marketing #how to youtube ads #youtube ads campaign #how to do youtube ads #youtube ads 2022

YouTube SEO - 3 Steps To Rank Number 1 on YouTube

YouTube SEO - 3 Steps To Rank Number 1 on YouTube

YouTube SEO, three steps to rank number one on YouTube. I will teach you how to rank number one on YouTube in three steps and who doesn't want to rank on YouTube? It's the second largest search engine in the world right after Google, and nearly 2.3 billion people access YouTube once a month. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ Funny enough, Google also owns YouTube, so technically, they own the first and second most popular search engine. That means if you're able to rank a video on YouTube for keywords that people care about, it'll be seen by thousands of people and it'll also rank well on Google over time. All of that sounds great, but YouTube is becoming more and more competitive. Thousands of creators in every niche are competing for probably attention and a lot of them are targeting the same audience as you. But the good news is that YouTube is nowhere near as competitive as Google. And even if you're just starting, you can rank videos on YouTube. Back in 2017 when I started my YouTube channel, things were tough. I've always been great at writing content, but it's an entirely different game when it comes to video. I also knew how to do SEO and get millions of visitors to my website, but all that knowledge was hard to use on YouTube and it didn't translate directly. So in other words, what worked for Google, didn't really work for YouTube. Some of it sure did overlap, but it was a different algorithm. So I decided to crack the code and understand YouTube's algorithm and share it with you. And in order to do that, I had to create lots of content. And I mean, lots of content. I started pushing out videos every single day. When I started my YouTube channel, I was doing at least one video a day. I want to learn a few things, so I needed data on what worked and what didn't. A lot of what I learned back then no longer applies to YouTube in this day and age, but I found out there are three steps that you need to take in order to rank on YouTube that worked back then and still work today and they're super effective. ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital https://npdigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/5qzMWvvkoyU #SEO #NeilPatel #DigitalMarketing #SEO #neil patel #how to rank videos #how to rank youtube videos #how to rank youtube videos fast #rank videos #search engine optimization #seo #seo for youtube #seo on youtube #youtube ranking #youtube keyword research #youtube seo 2022 #youtube seo for beginners #youtube seo tutorial #seo youtube #video marketing #growth marketing #improve ranking

If I Were Starting A YouTube Channel Today

If I Were Starting A YouTube Channel Today

If I were starting a YouTube channel today, here are four things that I wish I would've known before I got started. I know there are lots of flashy advice out there on how to grow your YouTube channel, but the fundamentals are actually pretty easy. So instead of telling you all the sophisticated stuff that other people are going to tell you in a 10 or 20-minute video, I'm just going to focus on the four main things that I wish I would've known before I was getting started. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ How LONG Did It Take to Get My First 10,000 Subscribers on YouTube?: https://youtu.be/qkxmUPotRDE The Secret to Being Popular on YouTube: https://youtu.be/3nykPLWfPu4 Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ Tip number one, it's all about the first 24 hours. See, traditional marketing, like SEO and Google is, how well do you do in the long run? It's slow and steady wins the race. You got to build links slowly, continue to publish content, slow and steady wins the race. It's very rare that you publish your article and you just rank number one out the gates, no matter how much authority you have. YouTube is a little bit different. Videos that do really well in the first 24 hours, AKA go viral or have a lot of views, tend to keep doing well after 24 hours. This means you can rank at the top right away, you can get tones of views right away, and you don't have to have age on your account or your website, like you would for Google, to do well. In essence, new channels, new videos that do well in the first 24 hours, can keep doing well years later. So what I would recommend is, whenever you have a video, push it out hard on social media, tell your friends to like it, engage with it by commenting. If you have an email list, do an email blast, if you have a push notification list through the tools like subscribers, do a push blast. If you have chatbot list through things like Minichat, send out a blast there as well. So push it out as many places in the first 24 hours, and ideally, even the first hour, because that's what's going to get your video as many views and cause it to rank really high in the long run. Tip number two, it's all about the thumbnail. See, everyone talks about titles. Yes, titles are important. But what we found is if your thumbnails aren't good, you won't get the clickthrough rates and your videos just don't get suggested as much because a lot of people don't read, they're just clicking on those thumbnail images that are appealing. Tip number three, it's all about the keywords. Sure, titles are important, but if your titles don't have the keyword in there, you're not going to rank as well. So I want you to put the keyword in your title, in your first paragraph, your first sentence. When you leave a comment, you can leave a pinned comment, try to include the keyword in there. When you're recording a video, mention that keyword as well and you're more likely to rank for that keyword. Tip number four, you got to ask questions. This is what I didn't do early on. When you film a video like this, you got to ask questions. So the question I have for you for this video is, what's your best YouTube marketing hack? Leave a comment below letting me know that. I'm sharing my four here. And what I found is when someone likes or share a video, it's not that powerful compared to them leaving a comment. You need to encourage comments. How do you encourage a comment? You ask a question during your video, that's what will get you the most questions or more so comments versus not asking people a question. It's that simple. Now when I first started, I would actually ask questions that were yes or no, like have you ever been penalized on Google, yes or no? Have you ever uploaded a video on YouTube? Leave a comment below, yes or no. But what happened over time is the YouTube algorithm learned so when people leave yes or no responses, it's not that powerful versus them actually leaving a comment with a sentence or two. So engage with your audience through questions within your video. You do those four YouTube tricks or tips, you'll start seeing much better results. A lot of people don't talk about them, they're fundamentals, they work. ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital @ https://neilpateldigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/kgk5OKV82YY #SEO #NeilPatel #Subscribers #how to come up with video ideas #popular youtube video ideas #youtube subscribers #free subscribers youtube #how to get subscribers youtube #how to get subscribers on youtube #how to get subscribers in youtube #how to get youtube subscribers #how to get more youtube subscribers #getting subscribers for youtube #youtube subscribers get #getting subscribers youtube #generate youtube subscribers #get subscribers youtube #how to get youtube subscribers free

How LONG Did It Take to Get My First 10,000 Subscribers on YouTube?

How LONG Did It Take to Get My First 10,000 Subscribers on YouTube?

There's a simple tactic that'll get you your first 10,000 YouTube subscribers. Today I'm going to break down how long did it take me to get my first 10,000 subscribers and how you can too with one winning tactic that got me there. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ Tactic number one, paid YouTube ads. At first, I thought that paid ads were great. I was getting an average of 323,000 views per month. But the problem, that level engagement that I was is getting from those paid ads, it just wasn't ideal. People were going, they weren't engaging, dropping off. My retention rates were too low. The worst part, when I stopped my YouTube ads my views tanked and I got almost zero traction from all the money I spent on ads in the aftermath. The bottom line is, that experiment helped me get a bulk of my views in that short period of time but it didn't create long term gains. I just spent a ton of money, and literally flushed it down the toilet. And when I say I spent a lot of money, I'm not talking about $1.000 I'm talking about tens and tens, and tens of thousands of dollars. That's how I got to tactic number two, which was releasing one video per day. I know what you're thinking, "Neil, you're crazy. One video per day, that's hard to keep up with." And you're right. It wasn't easy to keep up with that production pace but the results of this second experiment were great. For the first time, I was getting a lot of new subscribers every day. Though, my view count wasn't as impressive. I wanted to build up my channel subscriber base so that way I can maintain higher view counts in the future. Not only that. Pushing out new content every day, allowing me to understand what my audience really wanted to learn, and what they didn't want, which and then gave me the opportunity to double-down on the winning ideas, and get more traction. So what I learned during that time is, and you could model after this is, produce videos each and every single day when you're starting. When you produce those videos, make sure you put in the right keywords in the title, in the description, and use Ubersuggests to show you what keywords are popular. It even shows you them for YouTube as well. It has all that data in there. Now, within the first 30 seconds of your video, you need to tell people to subscribe. within the first 10 seconds of the video, you need to hook people so that they want keep watching the rest of your videos. And when you do this, you'll get more subscribers. You'll eventually rank and you'll do well. The other strategy I have for you is when you release those videos, send out an email blast. A push notification. Promote the YouTube video on other social channels, and tell them to go to YouTube even though the other social channels hate it. It's a good start. And what I mean by that is, I'm not talking about a wall post. I'm talking about messaging other people on these social channels that you already have fans and fans, and that'll help you get more traction. If you do this, you'll figure out what works on YouTube. And then after 30 day time window, what you can do is start creating less videos. I do three times a week, and you create the videos that create the most engagement the most subscribers 'cuz you have data from your first 30 days. If you don't have enough data from your first 30 days, create 60 days worth of content. Go hard for two months, and then slow it down and then focus on quality. That's how you get your first 10,000 subscribers super fast. ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital https://npdigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ #SEO #NeilPatel #DigitalMarketing #subscribers on youtube #youtube subscribers #free subscribers youtube #how to get subscribers youtube #how to get subscribers on youtube #how to get subscribers in youtube #how to get youtube subscribers #how to get more subscribers on youtube #how to get more youtube subscribers #getting subscribers for youtube #youtube subscribers get #getting subscribers youtube #generate youtube subscribers #get subscribers youtube #how to get youtube subscribers free

Can You Rank a Website WITHOUT Writing Content?

Can You Rank a Website WITHOUT Writing Content?

Can you really rank a website without writing content? Most people have a hard time creating content. And even when they write some content, their websites may not be getting lots of traffic. So, is there really a way to rank a website without writing content. Today, I'm going to break down how you can rank a website without writing content. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ Here's a quick step for you. 82% of marketers report actively using content in marketing in 2021. That's up from 70% from the previous year according to HubSpot. Now I don't have the current version numbers or stat when it comes up and people are leveraging content marketing, but that's still a crazy stat. Content marketing works amazingly well, but it's going to get more and more competitive every year, as marketers start giving it more focus in their mix. Look, the best time for opportunity, is for you to start leveraging content now. And I remember when I started content marketing, years and years ago, I'm talking about 10 plus years ago, it wasn't as competitive, there also wasn't as much search volume in Google, but it worked like a charm. I could write any mediocre piece of content and boom, you can rank on page one of Google. Build a little bit of links, rank even in the top three. Nowadays, you can have the best piece of content, you can have a lot of links, it doesn't guarantee the rankings. Look, the answer is, when you're doing SEO as your main strategy to gain traffic, then yes, writing content is king. You can still rank a website without content. You know, if you have some content, that's good enough, but you need some form of it. Keep this in mind, if your page has no texts at all, Google won't really know what your page is about. You still need content in your title, your headings, your call to actions, maybe a paragraph here or there, that's all examples of content. But the point I'm trying to get is, you don't necessarily need to write hundreds of blog posts to necessarily get tons of SEO traffic. It doesn't hurt, it actually helps, but it doesn't mean that you won't have any traffic if you don't write tons of content. And if you hate writing content, you're bad at it, or you just don't have enough time to do it yourself, there's always ways to ramp up your content, without necessarily writing it. And if you're getting started and you want to learn how to do content marketing, to skyrocket your traffic, I have another video that walks you through that process. You can just look on my YouTube channel, I actually have more than another video, I have tons of videos. Well, first off, let's dive right in, on how you can start getting traction, without really writing content. 00:00 - Introduction 00:34 - Quick Content Marketing Stats 01:40 - Yes - Writing Content Is KING 02:41 - Improve Your SEO Without Writing Content 03:87 - Removing Cannibalizing Content 04:49 - New Internal Links Opportunities 05:40 - Mobile Experience Improvements 06:08 - Guest Contributors ( Crazyegg ) 07:18 - Use Other Platforms, Beyond Seo, In Your Content Marketing ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital https://npdigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/f7GWmDuBoL4 #SEO #NeilPatel #DigitalMarketing #ranking website #website ranking by traffic #ranking website traffic #ranking website google #web rankings #ranking website in google #website ranking for keyword #website ranking #website ranking on google #website ranking seo #website ranking free #writing content for seo #content writing websites #writing content for the web #writing content definition #writing content online #seo 2022 #content marketing #content marketing strategy #content writing

How Much Time Should You Spend on SEO in Order to Rank #1?

How Much Time Should You Spend on SEO in Order to Rank #1?

A key to SEO is setting realistic expectations. If you want to rank at the top, you should know this. Today I'm going to break down how much time you should spend on SEO in order to rank number one. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ Hello Bar: https://www.hellobar.com/ OptinMonster: https://optinmonster.com/ ____________________________________________ If you want to grow slow and steady, spend three to six hours doing research and creating content per week. Spend four hours in competitive research per month to identify new opportunities with keywords you are still not targeting, but that aren't too competitive. I want you to spend another four hours optimizing for technical SEO per month. And you can do this through the Ubersuggest Site Audit report. And if you want to grow aggressively, right, not slow and steady, but you want to grow aggressively, I want you to spend three hours a day doing research and creating content. Spend a minimum of one hour per day, doing Link Building and Content Promotion. If you create a lot of content, you don't ever promote it, you're just not going to get the traffic no matter how good your content is. And then you need to spend at least three hours per week writing emails for your email subscribers and scheduling them. And you can use tools like Hello Bar for that. You can use tools like OptinMonster for them. And you want to spend a minimum of three hours creating and scheduling content for your strongest social media platforms. Right, these platforms that you're already doing well on, and you want to focus your attention on that. You could spend all your time on all the platforms out there, but we all know there's not enough time in the day for that. So do you want to know how I spend my time on SEO with the site that's already established? Well, the way I spend my time is every single week I go onto Ubersuggest and I look for keyword opportunities. So on Ubersuggest I can type in my domain name, neilpatel, and there's a report that looks at competitive domains and it shows me all the other competing domains. The keywords that I rank on that they also rank for. Then I also look for all the keywords that they rank for, that I don't rank for. And then I start looking at those keywords and seeing if they're related enough for me to create content around. And then I start creating content around those pages. And if you also have established website like me, the other big group of time that I spent a lot of energy on is I go onto Google search console. And I look for all the pages that are getting less traffic quarter over quarter, year over year. And if I can see trends of pages declining in traffic, I look for the keywords that are actually declining related to those pages. The next thing that I spend time on is I make sure that my site is buttoned up from on-page SEO perspective. It doesn't matter how much content creation that you have, or how much Link Building generation that you're doing. If Google can't crawl your website, you're screwed. So I just make sure that my site's buttoned up. And if you create a project in Ubersuggest, it'll automatically run a weekly site audit and tell you when there's new errors that you need to fix and it shows them to you. So just fix those in priority because the ones that Ubersuggest presents first are the ones that you should fix first. Because they'll have the biggest impact in growing your traffic. And the last thing that I spend my time on when it comes to SEO, believe it or not, is collecting tons and tons of email. I found that if I build a brand, they call it the rule of seven in marketing. When someone sees or interacts with your brand seven times, they're much more likely to evangelize it, buy your product, tell other people about it. So by collecting emails, putting out more lead magnets, maybe blocking off part of my blog posts and say, put in your email to read the rest, by putting off free tools that allow me to collect emails and then sending out email blast. Now, one thing that my team spends a lot of time on that I don't, but this has helped my rankings is my team goes and updates a lot of my old content. And they just make sure it's fresh and up-to-date, and still relevant. And by doing that, we continue to maintain and grow on our SEO traffic. And that's how established website should continually spend their time. You can also add in a lot of other tasks, but that's where we spend the majority of our time to maintain and grow our traffic ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital https://npdigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/ws26duw7mAw #SEO #SEO 2021 #neil patel seo #seo ranking #how to rank on google #how to rank on google 2022 #how to rank on google first page 2022 #how to rank on google seo #rank 1 in google #seo rank page #rank page one google #how to rank page 1 on google #rank page one on google #how long does seo take #how long does it take for seo to work #how long does seo take to work #why does seo take so long #how long for seo to work #how long does it take to implement seo #how to rank in google

How to Get More From Your Livestream After the Broadcast

How to Get More From Your Livestream After the Broadcast

Every time they go live, it brings them five figures in revenue. Literally five figures in revenue.Hello everybody and welcome to our very special edition of Restream live show with Neil Patel. Today, we're going to talk about why live streaming should be your focus in 2021. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ The #1 Key to Live a Successful Life: https://youtu.be/Z6f4V09piRE Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ Live is actually one of the biggest trends we're seeing and not for the reason most people think. So here's why live is big. If you look at most social media platforms, one thing that they've done over the years is they've crushed the reach, right? Unless you pay, you don't tend to get much of a reach. But here's the thing, what's different with their algorithms is they're trying to be live television, like the normal television that you watch on TV, through cable providers, whatever it may be, right? When you're watching your ABC, NBC, whatever the TV channel may be. So their whole thing right now is if you go live, they're trying to spread it not to just your network, but your network's network. And whoever else is willing to watch because they want more people to stay on YouTube or Facebook or any of their platforms because they make more ad revenue versus if you go there out there and go watch TV. So that's one big trend that we're seeing right now in which you should go live more often. And the more live you go, the better off you are because it's actually causing higher engagement. So then when you create content, whether it's videos or text-based posts or whatever it may be, that content is doing better because you had more engagement from your audience during the live session, from comments and stuff like that. So they're more likely to see it when you're not "going live". So that's the first big trend that we're seeing. What's funny is I was with a large corporation, without naming their name, and they have quite a big social presence because they've spent a lot of money to get that presence. And right now they're in the process of finding people within their space to interview on all these channels and create content. And my pitch to them was, you shouldn't actually just go create content and do interviews. What you should do is, because the people that they're trying to interview are really well-known and also have massive social followings, my pitch to them was you should go live together and do interviews. So for example, let's take the example of Instagram. If I go live on Instagram at the same time that they're going live, and we're both on the interview, my followers will get to know them and their followers will get to know me. So in essence, it's kind of like a win-win, but on top of that, you'll notice that the content spreads way faster than if you were just going live on your own channel to your own audience. ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital @ https://neilpateldigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/BKR7wlTg8gk #SocialMedia #Marketing #DigitalMarketing #social media marketing #social media marketing tips #livestreaming #live streaming #livestreaming tips #how to livestream #how to go live #livestreaming 101 #facebook live #facebook live tips #live video strategy #live video #live video tips #how to promote live video on facebook #live video marketing #facebook live video tips #live streaming marketing strategy #live streaming marketing trend #how to do instagram live #instagram live videos

The Secret to Being Popular on YouTube

The Secret to Being Popular on YouTube

You create all this amazing content on YouTube but no one's watching it. What should you do? Today I'm going to break down the secret to being popular on YouTube. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ How I Rank #1 For Very Competitive Keywords on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oc1KaNa91uE How To Go From Zero to 100,000 Subscribers on YouTube - YouTube Unlocked Course: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJhTePXFvGo&t=1s Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ As you can see here, this is my YouTube analytics. This is my channel dashboard. You can see my subscriber count. How many subscribers I got in the last 28 days. You can see my rough views, 879,000 in the last 28 days. Watch time in hours 50,000. Revenue, I don't monetize YouTube. So, how do I do this? Well, if you look at the analytics you'll see something here. I have 879,000 views in 28 days. Then if you click See More, this ends up breaking down where I'm getting my traffic from. A lot of the traffic is actually from YouTube search which is the number one channel for me, which is 34.3%. External is a Neilpatel.com website and me emailing and I'm going to show you that in a little bit but I'm getting a lot of traffic from YouTube search. It's generating a lot of hours in watch time and the duration of views and impressions isn't bad. So, how do you get all this YouTube search traffic? So, first off, when you're creating YouTube videos you want to do keyword research. So, you can go to Ubersuggest and neilpatel.com/ubersuggest or ubersuggest.com and type in keywords that you want a ranking for. So, here's the example. Maybe I want traffic from the term Google Analytics. And when you're on Ubersuggest it'll tell you how many times that keyword is getting searched on a monthly basis. And, if you scroll into keyword ideas and click View All Keyword Ideas, you'll get a list of keywords. And, these are the keywords that you want to include within your video and within your title and your descriptions. One of the biggest keys is saying the keywords within your video. So, I say the word Google Analytics, I'm more likely to rank for Google Analytics. If I talk about Google Analytics Certification I'm more likely to rank for Google Certification. So, of course, you need to create amazing content. Content should ideally be around 10 minutes, five to 10 minutes in length, and you want to do keyword research and include these keywords in your title, description. And that's one important part. But even if you do that, there's one secret that will cause you to do really well and I'll show it to you. So, as you can see here on my YouTube channel I recently published a video on generating 355 back links. How to create the ideal blog homepage, how SEOs should use Google Analytics. Check out this email that I sent out to my email list. How to generate 355 back links, right? It was about that video. Those, in essence, are the three videos I mentioned here. One, two and three, I mentioned in my email. That drove a lot of clicks and a lot of views. And, you can see the stats right here. Drove a lot of clicks and a lot of views. I also send out push notifications every time that I release an email. If I talk about how to generate back links I'm getting clicks, like around 6,000. Now, not all of these people actually click and watch the video, but they're clicking to learn more and it's up to them if they want to watch. And by doing this, what I'm doing is driving a ton of traffic to YouTube and ideally the day the video goes published. So, within the first 24 hours. If in the first 24 hours, you can send out emails, push notifications, tell all your friends to view the video, the more you do within the first 24 hours, the way YouTube algorithm works is, any video that's popular within 24 hours of its release, tends to rank better on YouTube. It's a really simple approach in which I'm promoting my videos really hard in the first 24 hours, and I'm continually creating videos on every topic out there to generate that traffic as well. So, use Ubersuggest to come up with the keyword ideas. Again, you just type in keywords within Ubersuggest you'll get tons ideas on content you could be creating. And then when you publish the content make sure you promote it. Whether it's through push notification, email, your other social channels, telling your friends about it, Facebook messenger blasts, through tools like ManyChat or MobileMonkey. Doing this kind of stuff is what's going to get you the results. ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital https://npdigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/3nykPLWfPu4 #YouTube #VideoMarketing #DigitalMarketing #how to grow on youtube #how to grow a youtube channel #how to grow your youtube channel #grow your youtube channel #grow your youtube channel fast #how to grow your youtube channel fast #how to grow your youtube channel fast in 2021 #promote youtube videos with zero subscribers #grow on youtube #grow your youtube channel fast 2021 #youtube channel growth strategy #how to grow your channel fast #youtube channel growth tips #youtube growth #get more subscribers #youtube tips

How I Generated 37,186,336 Video Views Without Going Viral

How I Generated 37,186,336 Video Views Without Going Viral

Going viral is tough. Everyone wants to go viral because they want millions and millions of video views. But what if I told you that you can get millions of video views without going viral. Today I'm going to break down how I got 37 million video views without going viral. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Social Blade: https://socialblade.com/ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ ____________________________________________ It's probably safe to say I have over 50 million views. That's a lot of views. So how do you do that without going viral? And today I'm going to show you how to do that. The first thing I want you to do is go to Google and google Ubersuggest Chrome extension. And when you type that in, it's the first result, it's chrome.google.com. The URL's really long. So I just want you to Google. Ubersuggest Chrome extension And there's over 200,000 people that use it, install it. And as you can see here, I've already have it installed. And you see that there's this little orange U icon. That's Ubersuggest. And if you don't see it there click the little puzzle piece. And then I want you to pin, click the pin for Ubersuggest, and then you'll see it. Now, when you go back to YouTube and you search for anything. And let's say I type in the word, digital marketing and I'm going to type it in. And the Ubersuggest extension will show you how many people search for digital marketing every single month. And it adds up. And I'll go and create topics on digital marketing and, and based on a look at some of the other videos and what people are doing. And I'll use that to figure out, all right maybe I should create a video on this. And it'll tell me not just what the search volume is for that keyword but it'll also give me other recommendations in the right sidebar. So that way I have more ideas of the keywords that I could be doing. The next thing I want you to do is go to neilpatel.com/ubersuggest, so that way you can get a bigger list ideas. And I want you to type in some of the competitors in your space. So let's say your competitor is Neil Patel, being me. And when you type in a domain name like Neil Patel you'll get a traffic overview where you see the popularity of a website over time and how much traffic they're going. But I want you to click in the left navigation keywords by traffic. And when you click on keywords by traffic just make sure you put in their domain name. And you'll see all the keywords that I'm ranking for. Not necessarily getting this many visits, which is volume. Estimated visits is on the right side. But you can see by volume what keywords are searched a lot being Reddit, news, Google ad words, you know, Google my business, Discord bots Quora, blogging, vlogging search engine optimization, SEO, advanced search on Twitter, Twitter advanced search, copywriting, search engines, influencers. And when you do this for your competition and you keep scrolling, a lot of the keywords won't be relevant for you. Some of them will be, any of the ones that are it'll give you ideas for keywords that you could be targeting. I'm using Ubersuggest to find all the other domains that have a lot, that are in my category. Like if this one is on, I think we saw podcasts advertising or podcasts topics. Or let's go, What? I don't know, content marketing, click on it. And then I can see all the other sites that rank for content marketing. One of the ones that ranks at the top is content marketing institute. Then I can go, Ima copy their domain here, go to keywords by traffic. And I can end up going through content marketing institute and then seeing, all right what are all the keywords that they're using as well? And this will give me good ideas on more keywords that I can create videos on. And when you create hundreds and hundreds of videos like I did, I know it takes time. You'll get the millions of views. Don't rely on going viral. You can't predict that, but you can predict that if you create tons of videos that are useful and helpful, each video may get five 10,000 views a month or even 2000 views a month. But when you have so many, it'll add up and over the years you'll get millions and millions of views and generate tons of revenue from it. Play the numbers game, create quality content in quantity when it comes to videos, put it on all the social sites out there you'll get the traffic, you'll get the views. You'll get the revenue from it, you'll get the brand awareness. And it's the long game. It works. How to Promote YouTube Videos (Even With 0 Subscribers) - Module 2 - Lesson 3 - YouTube Unlocked

How to Promote YouTube Videos (Even With 0 Subscribers) - Module 2 - Lesson 3 - YouTube Unlocked

So let's go over how you can make your video search friendly. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________ Download the Assets mentioned in this course: https://neilpatel.com/training/ Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJR61fXkAx13HymYam75l8XRyayA3ail4&playnext=1&index=1 Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/ Rev : https://www.rev.com/ ____________________________________________ First off, there's a lot of keywords that people type in on YouTube and you want to create videos that people are searching for and re engineer those videos so that way you can get more traffic over time. So how do you make your video search friendly? Well, you can make use of Google's search engines to find keywords that people are typing in such as using Google Suggests or YouTube Suggest or you can also use Ubersuggest which is a free tool that helps you find related keywords or content ideas. Take those keywords and put them within your title within your description, within your tags. Mention those keywords within your video. Then I want you to make your thumbnails easily recognizable by your brand. Maybe have your image or your company logo, have texts as large easy to read, have the right colors, brand identity. I also mentioned putting keywords within the tags and descriptions. Then there's categorizing it. So make sure you pick the right category because it's going to ruin your channel if you just pick one that are popular for no reason. Then of course, there's the SRT file. This is those video transcriptions where someone doesn't have their audio turned on, they can read all the details and you can get this by just going to Rev or any one of those websites and uploading that SRT file, because it tells YouTube what your video's about. Some tips and tricks for you. Record videos that are 15 minutes or shorter. Try to have videos that are longer than five minutes, because if it's too short, they won't rank as well. You want to upload consistently and scheduled videos that get people excited and even YouTube because they want people to keep coming back. I would recommend that you upload in the highest quality like HD, people want to watch in lower quality, that's fine. And make sure you stick within your niche. You don't see me creating videos on animals or medicine. Take the same video and upload it to Facebook, then upload that video to Instagram, and upload it to Snapchat and Twitter and Vine and LinkedIn and the list doesn't go stop there. So now let's go over the content promotion workflow. When you promote your video content, this is what most people don't understand. YouTube SEO is the opposite of traditional SEO. Whatever's popular in the first 24 hours tends to rank really fast and will constantly rank well on YouTube. It's not slow and steady wins the race with YouTube. It's the first 24 hours. So you want to push hard like I'll do email blast, push notification blast, share on Twitter, like tweet out the link. That's how I get my videos ring better because I promote really hard in the first 24 hours and actually I push really hard in the first hour. So now let's talk about working with influencers because influencers are like a moat. I want you to research relevant keywords and find the top websites, the bloggers, people to social accounts that talk about stuff and hit them up, try to work with them. Sometimes if you had to pay them, that's okay, feature them, maybe interview them on your videos, that doesn't cost you any money. And I want you to review social media trends out there. There's a lot of trends out there. And to give your videos a maximum reach, I want to talk about two things. First, I want you to post your videos within your blog, your email lists, your push notification list. The second thing is, I want you to use YouTube speakers to get people to keep viewing them such as playlists, annotations and cards and outreach to other people and just let them know about your video. And then I want you to track and adjust your ranking performance. Review your watch time, right? And by doing this these metrics will allow you to keep people longer on your channel, even if they watch someone else's video after that's okay, it'll cause your videos to rank higher just because you're keeping people on YouTube longer. ► If you need help growing your business check out my ad agency Neil Patel Digital https://npdigital.com/ ►Subscribe: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc to learn more secret SEO tips. ►Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ ►On Instagram: https://instagram.com/neilpatel/ https://youtu.be/qwomTmPOtyA #SEO #NeilPatel #DigitalMarketing #promote youtube #promote youtube video #promote a youtube video #how promote youtube video #how to promote your youtube channel #promote youtube channel #how to promote your youtube video #promote youtube video free #promote my youtube channel #how to grow on youtube #how to grow a youtube channel #how to grow your youtube channel #grow your youtube channel #grow your youtube channel fast #how to grow your youtube channel fast #promote youtube videos with zero subscribers
